We provide various types of pedestrian flow data.
People flow data (point sequence)
High-density pedestrian flow data that allows tracking of movement trajectories at one-minute intervals.
- A sequence of points obtained at one-minute intervals using a smartphone's GPS log.
- It is possible to link 14 types of attribute information, including gender and age group.
- The service is available throughout Japan, by prefecture, or by city/ward/town/village. *The service period can be specified in one-month increments from January 2021 to the present.
Human flow mesh statistics
Human flow statistics data with 125m mesh resolution
- Population estimated from smartphone GPS logs.
- Resolution of 125m mesh (16 times that of the carrier's 500m mesh).
- It is possible to visualize the population occupying a location by day of the week, hourly, and by gender and age group.
Traffic congestion statistics
This data shows travel times for each road link, aggregated at 15-minute intervals by season (5) x day of the week (7).
- The target area is the basic road network, which covers approximately 400,000 km nationwide.
- We will provide the data in CSV format (updated twice a year, in spring and autumn).
- By combining this with road network data, it becomes possible to display traffic congestion predictions on a map.
Estimation of automobile traffic volume
Data estimated from the app's GPS log data, including the day of the week, hourly time slots, and actual traffic volume for each direction of traffic (excluding narrow streets).
- We provide estimated traffic volume data by road link, year, month, day of the week, and time of day.
- It is also possible to estimate traffic volume by gender and age group.
