Digital signage
Please tell me about your company's signage products.
These are the first digital signage advertisements installed on ground-level pedestrian walkways in Japan, and a total of seven roadside signage installations are located on pedestrian walkways in the Sakae Minami district (around Sakae 3-chome, Naka-ku), the heart of Nagoya.
The signage consists of two 49-inch LCD monitors arranged side-by-side.
The monitor on the left displays advertisements, while the monitor on the right is a touch panel that provides the latest information about the town, such as maps of the surrounding area and local event information.
It also supports four languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean).

Could you tell me why you chose to use MapFan SDK?
We believed that offline maps were necessary because stable operation is required even during long periods of continuous use.
Furthermore, the fact that it supports multilingual maps, eliminating the time and cost of translation, and that it allows for rotation of the displayed map, which is necessary when changing the map orientation for each signage installation location, were also deciding factors in adopting "MapFan SDK for Windows".
What are your plans for the future?
The signage installed this time is part of a social experiment aimed at introducing area management, and in the future, an area management system that uses the revenue generated from public spaces to revitalize the community will be considered.
We plan to continue expanding this type of roadside signage and contribute to community development in the region.
