We provide printable maps showing facilities around the property! Our reports are packed with useful information for finding a home and for daily life, including administrative services and independently collected city/ward information, to support real estate companies' sales activities!

Could you please explain the service?

Launched in 2006 as a "community-created local and lifestyle information site," Seikatsu Guide.com features over 200 items of administrative services and information for each of the 815 districts across Japan and Tokyo's 23 wards (as of August 2024). It's packed with useful information for finding a place to live and for daily life, including water rates, subsidies and congratulatory payments, childcare information, grant programs, various statistical data, and rankings. Furthermore, it's an extremely convenient site that allows you to easily research information about a city from various angles, such as "City Data Comparison," which allows you to compare administrative services of two cities or wards across categories such as living expenses and public utilities, marriage and childcare, education, and medical care and welfare, and "Currently Popular Areas."

In August 2024, we released a new feature called "Compare Neighborhood Report," which includes maps of the area surrounding a property, as a tool to help real estate companies accurately explain properties and neighborhoods to their customers.

Please tell me about map-based features, and their advantages and benefits.

"Comparing Town Reports" is a report that real estate companies can use to provide information about the area surrounding a property and local area information to customers who are considering purchasing a property or moving. We have been considering creating a tool that will be appreciated by both real estate companies and customers, in order to prevent discrepancies between the image of the area that people had before moving and the actual livability of the area. We have now released a report function that includes maps of the area surrounding the property.
The local information included in our reports is unique, encompassing not only public utility rates, waste disposal information, medical information, and subsidy programs, but also information gathered through our own surveys of local governments and firsthand accounts from residents. We believe this information will not only satisfy customers searching for properties but also support the sales activities of real estate companies.
When you search by address, a map of the area around the property is displayed, and you can also check information on essential nearby facilities such as supermarkets, hospitals, convenience stores, train stations, childcare facilities, and schools. Furthermore, because we have obtained permission from GeoTechnologies, Inc. Inc. to reproduce and use the maps, you can also print out the report for your own use, making it a highly convenient feature.

You can find a map of the property's location and information about nearby facilities (train stations, convenience stores, childcare facilities, etc.).

 

If school district information is available for a particular area, it may be possible to find out which school district the property is located in.

Could you tell us about the circumstances and deciding factors that led you to adopt our map products?

Ideally, we wanted to extract reports based on property addresses and include maps with information on facilities around the property.

Could you tell us about your future plans?

By implementing MapFan API, we were able to display maps exactly as intended without any geocoding discrepancies, resulting in a highly satisfactory service. We hope that more companies will use this service in the future.
Furthermore, we are considering upgrading the system in the future by introducing features such as future information search.
